Awesome place and great service. Ac compressor on my pickup went out when traveling i84. I installed the compressor and they stayed late to put a charge in the system. Highly recommend them for your vehicle repairs

Our Motorhome broke down in Mountain home. Two ladies stranded. They quickly came to our aid and helped us with a faulty battery. Even helped us get it covered under warranty. Then hooked their computer to it and made sure everything else was good to go for our trip. They were very busy and took the time to help us get back on the road happily. Can not thank them enough.

I was passing through Mountain Home on 5/7/26 and my pickup was misfiring badly. C and A was recommended by a friend of my son's, so stopped there. As busy as they were, they took the time to diagnose the problem, bring a necessary part from Caldwell, and had me back on the road. No more misfiring, and my gas mileage improved! Very fair pricing. Worked on one of our vehicles after an accident (through another body shop and insurance claim). Scheduled work on our second car immediatly following (self pay). Was able to get needed repairs on multiple items and rear brakes for the same price Les Schwab had quoted for rear brakes alone.
I stopped at C&A after my check engine light came on during a 10 hour roadtrip to visit my family for Christmas. They kindly agreed to fit me in to their already full schedule. They were professional, generous, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain clearly what they were doing each step of the way. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I felt completely taken care of. The owners are absolutely lovely too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Experienced a serious breakdown while traveling through Mountain Home ID. The kind where you decide whether to keep the vehicle or not. Tow truck driver recommended C&A. Glad he did. They are experienced mechanics and were professional through the entire process. Diagnosed quickly and ordered the parts. Truck was repaired on time and as promised. No games. Honest. Truck now working great again. I wish they were near my home. A good mechanic is priceless.

I had a major car issue while my husband was out of town, making my car undriveable. My husband does all the repairs on our cars so we were both very unsure of where to go. C&A said they were 3 weeks out, but to bring the car in and they might be able to get to it sooner. I would 10 out of 10 recommend them for their HONESTY, EFFICIENCY, and RELIABILITY. Fixed in less than 24 hours, for less than they quoted us. We will recommend them to everyone!

These guys are amazing. My ac in my semi went out Not only did they come in almost 300 lower then they quoted. The ac works better then when I bought the truck new. They also beat freight liner by 1300 in price. They have earned my business for all my company and personal vehicles. Ty so much u guys rock. Update these guys just took care of my personal vehicle and not only did they beat the dealer price by $600 they also found what could have caused more issues and took care of it all in one easy spot Ty so much

C & A Automotive has always been fair priced, well mannered and decently quick with repairs. I’ve been there a few times with my crappy car and they have done a wonderful job and explain things very clearly to me. They don’t over charge or put bogus charges. My car is completely fine after leaving until it decides to break again which is all the car and not from any garage tampering. Very highly recommend.

We had alternator trouble just before Mt. Home on a Sunday afternoon. I called Eric at C&C first thing Monday morning. He was clear and forthright on both the time and cost estimate for replacing the part. He was faster than he quoted and it cost less than I had counted on. For getting an emergency repair done on a holiday week, he worked miracles. I'd recommend him and the shop for their professionalism and skill.

Everyone in town was booked weeks out. They on the other hand got me in the next morning after a headlight that would not work, even after replacing it with a new bulb. After the car was finished. I rec’d a detailed phone-call about all the work that was done to my vehicle with a reasonable price. Very kind receptionist and mechanics. They have a life long customer. 10/10 recommend!!!
C & A auto saved my life. My family and I broke down on the freeway on our road trip. C & A replaced our alternator and had us in and out in less that 2 hours and back on the road. They are amazing.

I was up visiting friends. my Jeep had an overheating issue. Even though it was a Thursday they got me in and got me taken care of the next day. So I could get home for the weekend.
